About the Journal

The Pesquisa Florestal Brasileira (PFB) is edited by Embrapa Forestry and published on an ongoing basis. Manuscripts are published together in an annual volume after editing and approval.

The abbreviated title of PFB is Pesq. flor. bras.

Mission: to publish original manuscripts derived from  research on forest-related topics.

Original manuscripts may be submitted as articles, review articles, or scientific notes, in Portuguese or English (preferably English), targeting a readership of students, researchers, and professionals in this field.

Manuscripts are subjected to double-blind peer review in a process that involves co-editors and reviewers from various Brazilian and international institutions.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the site pfb.sede.embrapa.br/pfb/.

PFB (ISSN 1983-2605) was classified by the CAPES Qualis system in the areas of Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Interdisciplinary.
