Abstract

The mite Tetranychus urticae (Kock, 1836) (Acari: Tetranychidae) has been reported and the injuries characterized for the first time in nursery of teak (Tectona grandis) in Brazil.

Alexandre dos Santos, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso

Possui graduação em Engenharia Florestal, Mestrado, Doutorado e Pós-doutorado em Entomologia pela Universidade Federal de Lavras. Tem experiência nas áreas de Entomologia Florestal e Agrícola, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cupins praga, formigas cortadeiras, elaboração de planos de amostragem e manejo integrado de pragas florestais. Atualmente é professor do curso de Engenharia Florestal do IFMT - Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso 
Campus Cáceres .
