Viability Campomanesia aurea seeds under different storage temperatures

The objective of this work was to evaluate the physiological quality of Campomanesia aurea O. Berg seeds stored under two temperatures. Seeds were dried and stored at 25 °C and 8 °C for 0, 30, 60, 90 and 150 days. We observed a linear decrease in germination and germination speed index, with a steeper drop for seeds stored at 25 °C. C. aurea seeds stored at 8 °C maintained viability of 80% for 150 days, evidencing the potential of this species for seedlings production if programmed during this period.Downloads
