Authorship
PFB considers the concept of authorship to be based on substantial contribution by each of the collaborators listed as authors in the conception, development, analysis, writing, and critical review of the manuscript.
Other contributions that do not meet these authorship criteria should be included in the Acknowledgments section.
Each author’s contribution and ORCID registration number must be stated in the cover letter when submitting the manuscript.
The contents of submitted manuscripts are the sole responsibility of the author(s), and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Editors or Editorial Committee.
When submitting their manuscripts, all authors must accept the following terms:
- Assume responsibility for holding the other authors (if applicable) jointly responsible for the technical and scientific content of the manuscript.
- If the data is hosted in a public repository, the manuscript must include the name of the repository, data identification number, the direct URL to the data, and its DOI.
- Evaluation of manuscripts only begins after the metadata is correctly added to the system in the language of the submitted text (Title, Authors, Institution, ORCID number, Abstract, Indexing terms).
Manuscripts must not contain identifying information. Texts should be written in word processing software (.doc, .odt, or .rft format), double-spaced in 12-point Arial font, A4 format with 2.5 cm margins, numbered pages and lines.
Once the manuscript has been submitted, no authorship changes can be made (removing or adding co-authors, for example). The order of authors in the published manuscript will follow the order they were entered into the submission system. Exceptional cases will be referred to the Editorial Committee for consideration.
